Loading your vehicle at the depot

Steps

1. On the Orders tab, tap your route card (To load). The loading screen opens: Load starting with the last stop. Last stop goes in first, at the back. Suggestion only. Scan in any order you like. Stops to load lists the stops, last one first.

2. Tap Quick scan (Scan packages) and aim at each label. Each package scanned reads Loaded. A package from another route is refused (Unexpected code …, not on this route). Tap Done when you are finished.

3. When a label cannot be read, tap Load manually (Scanning stays the rule. This action is recorded.). Tap the package, choose Why can't it be scanned? (Label unreadable, Label damaged or missing, Scanner broken or Other), add a photo of the label if you can, then Load this package. You can also tap Type the code instead.

4. When the last package is loaded, the app shows All packages are loaded: You can start the route. Tap Start the route to go back to the loading screen.

5. Slide Slide to start route to the end. Release before the end to cancel. Nothing is sent. Starting sets the route to In progress.

Packages to take off the van

If dispatch removes an order from your route after you loaded it, a red block appears: Take these parcels off the van. Their order left this route. Scan each one to take it off, then leave it at the depot. You cannot leave while one is still on board. Take off without scanning lists them, with Take off on each one or Take all off.

A package is missing

If you cannot find a package, the app counts it in N packages not found. Most missing packages turn up within 20 minutes. You can still leave with Start without these N: the missing packages stay at the warehouse and will be rescheduled.

A damaged package

If a package was received damaged, the app asks what to do: Load anyway (the customer will be delivered) or Leave at depot (it goes back as a return). Report damage needs a photo.
